LAST SEASONThe young Cyclones exceeded expectations a season ago, returning to the Big 12 Championship game despite returning less than 25 percent of its minutes from the 2023 title team. The run continued in the first round of the NCAA Tournament as Iowa State came back from down 20 with less than two minutes to play in the first half to knock off No. 10-seed Maryland, 93-86.
