With the festive season approaching, your oven is likely to be put through its paces, and a deep clean may be in order before the holiday cooking chaos begins.
Lynsey Crombie, aka Lynsey Queen of Clean, has shared her early Christmas prep, including her secret to a sparkling oven.
On Instagram, she wrote: "The oven always needs some TLC before the festive cooking marathon. I swear by Astonish Antibacterial Oven and Grill Paste it's eco-friendly, toxic-free, and leaves your oven sparkling clean! ".
The Astonish Antibacterial Oven and Grill Paste is available on the Astonish website for £4, or £3.60 with a monthly subscription.
The product description reads: "Our Specialist Oven & Grill Cleaner and Sponge tackles cleaning easily by powering through grease and burnt-on food to restore items into becoming like new again. It's formulated without harsh chemicals, so there's no need for gloves."
The product has received rave reviews on the Astonish website, with one customer writing: "Very impressed, first time I have used this my hob came up sparkling clean."
Another reviewer added: "A very good product. I liked the non-corrosive and non-toxic nature of it. It didn't take every bit of debris off but it did a very good job nontheless and better than other cleaners I have tried."
Lynsey has offered her followers a slew of Christmas preparation tips, urging: "Speaking of ovens, sort through your cookware! If you need any new roasting tins or baking trays, Robert Dyas has fab non-stick options that will last you for years. And don't forget to stock up on tin foil!"
She added to the festive tidying frenzy: "While you're at it, run a dishwasher clean it's about to go into overdrive these next few months. Lastly, shine up your cutlery with a silver polishing cloth nothing makes a Christmas table pop like sparkling cutlery! ".
Moreover, Lynsey advised creating a Christmas box to store seasonal essentials such as Christmas cards, gift tags, crackers, and Sellotape to stay organised.
Followers were quick to praise the cleanliness guru's advice, with one posting: "The oven is the worse part [laughing emoji] love the storage box idea."
Another follower agreed, commenting: "That's a great idea to store it all together - I am on the hunt for Christmas crackers this week. X x x" Meanwhile, another wrote: "Love this and so organised."
